Tamorindo- Livy Oct 31

We were in Tamerindo  for 4 days. We stayed in a hostel called Selena's Hostel. It was nice but there was very loud music coming from the bar at night. We were going to change to a hotel because our room was kind of gross. But they moved us to a room in the back that was beautiful. Well,actually we got 2 rooms. Me and Anneka got our own room with a king size bed. It was amazing. We went surfing for a couple of hours and surprisingly I did pretty good.

We had planned on going to tamorindo when Halloween was happening. It is one of the only places in Central America that celebrates the amazing holiday.  Me and Anneka got to dress up. I went as a Zombie and Anneka went as a Fairy.

We had to get creative about my costume but Anneka's was pretty easy.  I did not want to be a fairy or a witch. But we could not really find any other costumes. Finnaly my dad got the idea to make a Zombie by ripping up a white PG shirt or something and then I turned out looking like like this.

That night we went into town with bags to go trick or treating. We got to the main square and saw all the cars parked in a circle. It was actually called Trunk Or Treat,cause all the people had decorated there cars and handing out candy.  It was so fun. Then there was a big Halloween party at one of the restaurants. There were games and snacks. Me and Anneka decorated cookies. They were actually very good. Then sadly it was time to go home. I had a really long shower to rub the make- up off. It was probably one of my favorite Halloweens even though it was nothing like home.
