Sadly we left Koh Lanta and headed to the neighboring town, Koh Samui. We took a ferry there for 5 hours! It was so long! We took a shuttle to our hotel which was kind of gross. It was not a awful, but it could have been better. It had a nice pool. Anyway, we went down to the middle of town and checked out the beach. It was really nice. The sand was really soft and white.

We did not stay at the beach long because we were all starving. We went to a little market with street vendors to get lunch. I got fried noodles. They were so good!!! After lunch we walked around town and went to a couple of travel agents to try and book a tour. In the end we just rented a car for tomorrow. We went back to our hotel and swam in the pool. There was a couple boogie boards and we had races on them.

After swimming we went for dinner. We got chicken skewers with peanut sauce and O My Gosh. They were so good, I could not stop eating them. We walked back to the hotel and got ready for bed. The next morning, we went to pick up our car. The first place we went was a waterfall. Before we got to the hiking part of it, there was a pen with some Elephants. There was a baby who was still really big!
To get there, you had to walk up and down hills for a bout a hour. It was really hot!!! We were all sweating buckets by the time we got to the waterfall. Me and my mom were a little scared because all of the rocks were slippery and we were all climbing over them. Me, Anneka and my dad went swimming. The water was cold but so refreshing.

Next we went to the golden buta. It is a giant statue were people go to pray. It was really cool. There was a bunch of little shops with handmade sculptures in them.

We then went to different beach. This one was not as nice as the one in the town, but it was still really nice.

We stayed at this beach for a bout half an hour then headed to a different one. This one I did not like at all, but the rest of my family did. I found the sand was not soft and there was more garbage on it then the rest of the beaches. Still, we have been on worse.

We got lunch at a restaurant there. The food was OK, I got a hamburger that was good, but not delicious. After lunch we headed home. We just went to the beach after we got back. The water was so blue that day. It was Crazy!!! The next day we went for breakfast and headed down to the beach. We went to a resort and got chairs for the day. We got a smoothie and swam in there pool. We went to get lunch at a different market. I got delicious fried rice with chicken.

After lunch bake went to the beach. We basically spent the whole afternoon in the water. We got a couple smoothies that were amazing. I got this berry one, and Anneka got a tropical fruit one. The next day we packed up our things and took a ferry back to the mainland.
