Highlights of Spain and Portugal - Livy

O my Gosh!!! We have been so busy touring city's and there has barely been enough time to do my blog. SO SORRY. We are actually in Belgium. I am three country's behind! so I am only going to do the highlights of Spain and Portugal. Then do France as a whole. If you want to read the whole thing, just go to my moms blog. Anyway so here is Barcelona!!!

We left Croatia and Headed to the city Barcelona. This was the most beautiful city EVER!!! Every building you looked at was just breathtaking. We were here for a week, and started off in the grossest place ever! We had booked online and think the woman who was renting it put fake pictures on her website. The floor was literally slanting! My dad put a water bottle on it and in rolled to the entrance door!!! So we moved and luckily the place we moved in was awesome! My favorite thing we did in Barcelona is kind of weird. Are you ready for it, a pigeon park. It was a square that tourists have been going to for years to feed the pigeons. Now they are so tamed that they will land on your arm and eat from your hand. We went there twice and me and Anneka had a bag of popcorn each. It was really fun.

 We took another Airplane to Portugal. We would be coming back into Spain in the car after Portugal.  Anyway, We got on the plane and flew to Lisbon, Portugal. Our first stop was Lisbon. We were onlky there one night but in the day that we were there, you could tell it was a beautiful city.

After Lisbon we went drove south. We had rented a car and were going to drive around the Algarve. It is a series of towns along the south coast of Portugal One of my favorite spots was Portimao. Mainly because the place we were staying at was kind of like a resort. I did like the town though. We stop at so many different town in the algarve, I am just going to put up some pictures. 

One of my favorite things we did in the Algarve was the Water park. Me, mom and Anneka all went to it one day for a surprise. It was not only slides though. It had rides, shows and slides. It was awesome. My favorite thing of the day was the dolphin show. They were doing full flips in the air! It was realky cool.
The next day we headed back to Lisbon. Because we were only there for one day before, we decided to go for 2 more to finish seeing it. To me it did not look any different from what we saw the first time we were there, but my parents thought it was awesome. That was all we did in Spain and Portugal. My favorite place was Barcelona. Just all the cool buildings and the Pigeon park. I just loved it.
