La Fortuna and Quepos- Livy October 28th

Manual Antonio (Quepos)

We stayed at a awesome Hostel in Quepos called the Wide Mouth Frog.It was really nice.

Wide Mouth Frog Hostel 

The main reason we went to Quepos was to go to Man Well Antonio National Park. It is the smallest National Park in Costa Rica but also the busiest. We saw so much wild life. Like you wouldn't believe. In total we saw 11 species of animals! 3 types of  Monkeys, 3 types of Lizards, 2 types of Crab, Raccoons, Agouti and a long  nose Coati. The monkeys, raccoons and Coati had very little fear of humans and kept going in our bags.We had to go up to them and throw sand!

We stayed at a awesome Hostel called Arenal hostel resort. It had a really nice warm pool with a swim up bar.

We met up with the same friend Anneka had in Purto Viejo,Esmee. We also met some people from Quebec. My dad went on a Rappelling tour and me and Anneka were to young so Me,Anneka and my mom went to a waterfall. We were planning on spending a couple hours there but it started to down- pour on us so we had to run back up 500 stairs (and yes we were counting) and get a hot tea at the café.

We went to a other rescue center which had a Spanish name no one in family could pronounce (Asis Proytecto) . I saw my absolute favorite animal called the Kinkajoo. What was so amazing was that everyone told me I would never see one because they are nocturnal. I actually got a little teary eyed. We also got to feed the animals it was so awesome.

We also went on our first White Water Rafting tour. It was so fun.My parents fell out and said it was really fun being in the water. We were going to go on a hike at the Volcano before we checked out,but it was pouring rain and by the time it stopped it was time to go. La Fortuna was by far my favorite place. But here is a picture of the volcano.
