Our Story

Our last stop, England!!! - Livy

Oh my gosh, we left Holland and headed to our last stop, England. Not only have I been really looking forward to this amazing country ( I mean, who wouldn't) but we are now only one week from home!!!!! So our first stop was Brighton, a small town 1 hour away from London. We were coming here to meet friends from Costa Rica. Do you remember Anneka's friend Esmee? If you dont, read my Puert Viejo.
They had invited us to stay in there beautiful home. Me and Anneka were sleeping in Esmee's room, and my mum and dad had the guest room. I had a hard time falling asleep with the little ones talking so much! We went to A school fair which was fun and after, we went to a town festival, where I got a bracelet and a coloring book.
The town Festival
The next day we went down to the board walk. It was the best board walk ever!!! There were food carts lining the middle, at the end there was a giant arcade and behind that, there was a small amusement park,. It was really expensive though, so we did not really do anything. We walked down the beach and went to I360. It is basically a big tower with a glass circle going around it. You go in the circle and it brings you to the top.

We went for a delicious Mexican lunch, and then headed home. The next day was Monday, and Esmee had to go to school and Joe and Dan had to go to work. Our train to London was not until 2;00 so to kill time, we went to a old castle built for King George. It was really cool but very tacky. I would not want to live there. You weren't aloud pictures inside though witch was really weird,
The outside was nicer than the inside

From the other side
We went to the train station and went to the bid city on London. Before I start, I just want to mention something that effected our whole trip to London. While we were here, I found out my Papa had passed away. During our whole trip I kept getting waves of sadness. It was really unfortunate and it really changed my view on London. I will come back here when I am older and redo London
We were here for 4 nights. Not really a lot of time to see this city but, we would make do. We saw Buckingham Palace, the tower of London, the parliament buildings, St. Paul's Cathedral, West Minister Abby, London Eye and the tower bridge. It was a pretty ram packed schedule but we did see a lot.

That night, me and my mom went on a harry Potter tour. Harry Potter was filmed in London and me and mum were going to see the sets where it was filmed. It was really amazing and I had a grin on my face the whole time.

This was the real train they used
It was really cool and I was so sad to leave.
London was really cool, but it was not as great as I thought it would be. Maybe that is because of what happend to my Papa, but whatever it is, I would like to come back and do it all again.
NEXT STOP, oh my gosh, next stop is,  HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
