Surf and Sandcastles: Livy August 27th, 2017

The last two weeks have been really busy, so i just going to talk about my favourite parts.

Revelstoke- we did the pipe coaster, it is a coaster you take down the mountain going 42km an hour! We took a Gondola up the mountain, I have been really wanting to do one, but once we were on it I got really freaked out...but once we were done I felt good about myself.

Enchanted Forest: The enchanted forest was really awesome, there were fairy tale characters and houses all along the trail through the forest...from the cow jumping over the moon to snow white..this place was really unique and was a great experience.

Giant Cedar Boardwalk: Small hike through a forest of GIANT cedars. The trees were unbelieveable. Bigger than anything I have seen

Cultas Lake Provincial Park: We stayed here for 2 nights my dad had some old friends come and visit (Rob and Cherie). There was an amusement park there called Adventure Land, it was small but had really fun rides.

Vancouver: there was a lot of things going on in Vancouver. We started with a bike ride going over Lion’s Gate Bridge to Stanley Park. It was very stressful, everyone was ready to kill each other and was not the greatest way to start Vancouver. Once that was over we were all happy. Stanley Park was nice. Next we went to Horseshoe Bay we had a great lunch of fish and chips and watched the ships come in. On our way home we saw a park called Whytecliff...we decided to stop and explore. It was beautiful and we saw two wild seals sunbathing so close, (about 15ft away). We then went to Lynn Canyon Park.This place was beautiful with a bunch of waterfalls and a big suspension bridge. On the walk it was kind of scary because there was 34 deaths at this place because people would cliff jump or have hiking accidents . There were signs everywhere warning you not to do anything dangerous. Later that day we went to deep cove where we swam.

The next day we went to Whistler. On our way we stopped at Shannon Falls Provincial Park, where we saw a ginormous waterfall. It was beautiful.We filled our water bottle with the water from the falls.

Whistler:We went to Brandywine falls near Whistler.It was exactly what you would picture a waterfall to look like.When we got back to our camp site,we went to the village.There were rides in blackcomb village.There was a mountain coaster but it wasn’t as good as the one in Revelstoke.It went really slow.Me and Anneka also went on this tall rope course.It was really fun.Next we went on these balls that you went inside and tried to bang into everyone else.Next we went to the Olympic Plaza.It was really fun because there was a field that me and Anneka where playing on.We went to get ice cream at a place called Cows where Anneka and me both got delicious flavors.

Saturday morning we drove back to Horseshoe bay where we took a ferry to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island.From there we drove to Tofino.
